Stickley Morris Chair

 This Bow Arm Morris Chair is made by Stickley company in New York.  It has a matching ottoman and is composed of Cherry.  This chair has only minor flaws and overall is in excellent condition.  Original price for this chair is 2,219.00 without the ottoman.  This chair is offered at 776.00  Although all reasonable offers will be considered.  This is heirloom quality furniture.  Please see description of construction methods Stickley uses below.  Chair can be found online at the stickley website here.

Stickley builds for the long run. They use solid hardwoods like quartersawn oak and wild black cherry.  Stickley pieces are engineered and built like none other, using classic joinery techniques that have been lost elsewhere: Exposed mortise-and-tenon joints; booksawn panels; quadralinear posts; side-hung, center-guided drawers; blind dovetails.

Stickley Harvey Ellis Desk and Deck

This writing table was originally designed in 1903-04 by architect/designer Harvey Ellis during his brief tenure with Gustav Stickley’s Craftsman Workshops. A few years ago an original sold at Christie’s for $74,000. It features nine stationary cubbies behind upper doors that are flanked by three small drawers on each side of the deck. The desk is made of solid, quarter-sawn oak and its drawers, like those on all reissued pieces, are side-hung and center-guided. The bronze pulls of the desk and deck are surrounded by copper inlay rings. Uniquely stylized floral inlays of various hardwoods (including maple, cherry, black walnut, ebony and pearl wood) adorn the deck doors and desk sides.  This desk is in excellent shape with only a few small, minor scratches.

Stickley Preto Aracruz Black Granite Cocktail Table

This Stickely Preto Aracruz cocktail table is made with solid cherry. It has a round black granite top, silk screened accents and ebonized hardwood inlay on legs and apron; pierced chamfered legs. 

 

Stickley Fayetteville Sofa

Millcreek Furniture Custom 66" Square Table

This large 66" square table was custom made by the Millcreek Furniture Company.  The top is solid cherry and the legs are most likely solid poplar.  The original cost to commission this piece was $8,500.
